1. Stage your wood in one area close to where the processor is going to be located.
 
2. Cut the nubs (where limbs were located) so the log will not get caught in the log trough of the processor.
 
3. Have a grapple or frontend loader for the logs to be placed on the log deck.
 
4. Ideally, have a helper to work with you. One person can load the wood while the other person is running the processor.
 
5. Decide in advance where the conveyor will shoot the wood into a dump bed or wood pile to reduce manual handling.
